Turtle by Colin Wagner and Katherine Cook.

boredom's products

Our History

We are an independent game development team founded in 2009 by brothers Brandon and Matthew Higley. Our primary goal is to alleviate boredom, both for our players and our team members, with fun and original game projects. The advent of indie-oriented publishing outlets in recent years has made it easier for start-up studios to have their products enjoyed by many, and it was for this reason that boredom's products was founded; that we may do what we love and build a studio out of it, while contributing to the indie market with games that entertain people.

Our Core Team

Brandon Higley - Producer, Sound Designer. Brandon primarily composes music for video games, but along with his brother, has recently discovered a passion for creating them. He lives in Santa Cruz, where he attended college. He also loves hockey (go Sharks!).

Matthew Higley - Lead Designer, 2D Artist, Writer. Matthew is a student of Game Art and Design at Westwood College, and lives with his two cats and a dog, Fargo, Homer, and Blackberry. His passion is writing fiction, but he believes that video games are an emerging artistic media.

Jeff Brizzolara - Software Developer. Jeff is a graduate in Computer Game Design from the flagship class at University of California, Santa Cruz, Jack Baskin School of Engineering--the first four-year university to offer this degree. He is also fluent in a few foreign languages, such as Java, C++, C#, PHP....

Our Friends

Colin Wagner - Graphic Designer. A student of Drexel University, where he is majoring in Digital Media, Colin only dabbles in graphic design, but he's still great; just look at the bp turtle splash page!

Katherine Cook - Turtle Designer. While Colin did most of the graphic design himself, the bp turtle was originally created by Katherine. A bit outside of her comfort zone, but that kind of thing is healthy for an artist!
